Patriots’ 2014 Schedule Released

The New England Patriots will open up their 2014 campaign on the road against the Miami Dolphins.

The NFL released its full regular season schedule Wednesday night, and fans can now begin to mark their calendars with all the must-see games.

Games of Note

--The next chapter in the Brady vs. Manning rivalry will take place in Week 9, with the Denver Broncos coming to Foxboro in an AFC Championship rematch.

--After last season’s Divisional Playoffs win over the rival Colts, the Patriots will trek to Indianapolis to take on Andrew Luck and co. on Sunday Night Football in Week 11.

--The Patriots play on Monday Night Football in Week 4, going on the road against a dangerous Kansas City Chiefs team.

--Two of the best Quarterbacks in the game square off in Week 13 when the Patriots visit historic Lambeau Field and take on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.

--Patriots fans will witness Calvin Johnson’s first trip to Gillette Stadium when the All-World Wide Receiver and his Detroit Lions come to town in Week 12.

--AFC Playoff foes collide in Week 14 when the Patriots travel West to play the San Diego Chargers (and old friend Danny Woodhead) on Sunday Night Football.

--The Patriots get a chance for revenge against the team that handed them their first loss last season, taking on the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 5 at Gillette Stadium.

--Division Games: The Patriots’ 2 games with the Jets come in Week 7 (Home) and Week 16 (Away). The Patriots play in Buffalo Week 6 and host the Bills in the season finale in Week 17. In addition to opening in Miami, the Pats host the Dolphins in Week 15.

--The Patriots’ Bye Week (no game) is Week 10. Plan vacations, weddings, and other gatherings accordingly.
