Late Game Struggles Doom Brown, Fall 57-49 to Cornell

The Brown Bears men's basketball team (9-11, 0-3 IVY) fell 57-49 to the (10-9, 2-1 IVY) Cornell Big Red on Friday night in upstate New York. The Brown Bears remain winless in conference play.

Brown led a 49-47 with with 3:31 left after a free throw from Kuakumensah but then did not score the rest of the game. Cornell went on a 10-0 run over the final few minutes to win the game 57-49. Brown did not have one field goal over the last seven minutes of the game.

Cornell was led by Devin Cherry and Galai Cancer who each netted 11 points in the win.
Brown returns to action on Saturday, January 31 when they visit Columbia. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
