RI Speaker Mattiello Confirms Federal Investigation Tied to Former Rep. Gallison

Rhode Island Speaker of the House Nicholas Mattiello confirmed on the floor on Tuesday that former State Representative Raymond Gallison resigned due to personal legal problems.
"I don't know the specifics of Mr. Gallison's legal concerns. I know that there is a federal investigation and other than rumors of broad areas of investigation, I am not someone who believes in them nor will I comment on them," said Mattiello.
