Operation Stand Down RI Officially Opens Newport Office

Operation Stand Down Rhode Island will officially open its Newport Veterans Service Center on 164 Broadway and will hold a reception on Wednesday, April 29 from 5-7 p.m.
At the Newport location, OSDRI staff of retired military personnel will be able to assist veterans who are homeless, or looking for work. The Newport location has a fully stocked food pantry and clothing shed available to veterans.
The new office is part of OSDRI's effort to extend the organizations reach into the East Bay and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Operation Stand Down Rhode Island is an independent non-profit organization and Rhode Island's primary nonprofit resource for homeless and at-risk veterans. The organization was founded in 1993 and headquartered in Johnston.
