Retired Providence Police officer Tony Lepore, Sr. announced Thursday that he is spearheading an effort to have the Dunkin' Donuts employee fired who wrote #BlackLivesMatter on an officer's cup.
"I have come to a decision," Lepore, known as the "Dancing Cop" told GoLocal. "The whelming decision was to have her fired. We lifted all boycotts on all D.D. except Bradford & Atwells which we will picket this Saturday with signs of Police Lives Do Matter. 8 to 10 A.M."

GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTFollowing the incident where a Dunkin' Donuts employee wrote "Black Lives Matter" on a Providence Officer's cup on Friday, Lepore had initially called for a boycott of all Dunkin' Donuts -- but has since changed his position to just the one on Atwells Avenue, where the action occurred.
"Yesterday morning I put out that I am going to continue boycotting D.D. myself forever," said Lepore. "I left it up to my followers if they were or not. They all and many more said we are with you. So, I said OK, if most of you want to still boycott -- I said OK you have spoken, and so we will."
"The people have spoken. I heard twice today that [Florida] police are boycotting D&D Yes it's on until she's fired."
