Happy Thanksgiving to All

Thursday, November 26, 2015

Thanksgiving Day is the wonderful day that binds us all together.

In Rhode Island, where today we can all give thanks for the ongoing surprise of the country's liveliest experiment. On good days and on bad, in rich times and in lean, we prosper from the hustle-bustle of close quarters and share each others' wins and losses.

It's a day of reflection, of hands grasped and thanks given. Where else but here in this tiny state could a million people share unparalleled coastlines, historic settlements, feisty temperaments, and deep and diverse cultures?
