The Benefactors of the Arts will present a self-guided walking tour of private gardens in Newport, Rhode Island from September 5-7.
The tour, “On & Off the Avenue & Drive”, will run daily from 10 am until 5 pm. “On & Off the Avenue & Drive” will feature twelve gardens, including three that are new this year.
Bettie Bearden Pardee's gardens at Parterre will be featured on the tour and she will be onsite all weekend available to sign and discuss her new book "Living Newport: Houses, People, Style".

Tickets may also be purchased at Kingscote for $25 on the day of the tour. Tickets are good for any or all days of the tour, allowing for inclement weather, schedule conflicts, or just a late start.
