A Busy weekend of events in Rhode Island is upon us. There are a wide range of events for people of all ages. 

This weekend Alan Jackson is at the Dunkin' Donuts Center, Sesame Street is at PPAC and WWE legend Hacksaw Jim Duggan is a Comedy Connection.

    Award Winning Improv Comedy with The Bit Players 

    Get over to Firehouse Theater at 4 Equality Park Place in Newport to watch the award winning improv comedy of The Bit Players.

    Sesame Street is coming to the Providence Performing Arts Center. 

    Elmo, Grover, Abby Cadabby, and their Sesame Street friends welcome Chamki, Grover’s friend from India, to Sesame Street.

    Kids' Story Time at Books on the Square 

    Parents and children can join storytellers for the ongoing story time events with talented storytellers.

    Story Time events last approximately 30 minutes. This event is best suited for children 6 months–6 years old.10:30-11am Mondays, Babies11:00-11:30 a.m. Saturdays, All.

    Alan Jackson at Dunkin' Donuts Center

    Country star Alan Jackson is coming to Providence. 

    Jackson is bringing his 2017 Honky Tonk Highway Tour to Dunkin’ Donuts Center on Saturday, April 22. Jackson will be joined by multi-platinum singer Lee Ann Womack. 

    In his career, Jackson has sold nearly 60-million albums worldwide and ranks as one of the 10 best-selling male vocalists of all-time.

    Horton hears a noise coming from a speck of dust on a clover and commits himself to protecting it and the Whos who live on it. Through mishaps and adventures, these unique characters finally find what they seek - their places in their world.

    The Aurea Ensemble “Crossings” at St. Martin’s Church 

    Join the Aurea Ensemble for must see concert event at St. Martin's Church. 

    Aurea teams with Yang Wei, internationally acclaimed pipa virtuoso and member of Yo-Yo Ma's famed Silk Road Ensemble.

    Crossings will celebrate the connections between Eastern and Western cultures, from ancient times through the present.
