American Craft Beer Week at Sons of Liberty
Join the Sons of Liberty as they host the final night of craft beer specials in the distillery’s new tasting room.
Choose from a variety of craft beers from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Must be 21+ to attend.
Christopher Paul Sterling at Columbus Theatre
Rising singer and songwriter Christopher Paul Sterling is playing the Columbus Theatre in Providence on Friday.
Sterling is known for albums such as Labor Against Waste, False Cities, Songs f Praise & Scorn among others.
The show is set to begin at 9 p.m. with doors opening at 8.
Matilda at PPAC
Matilda was named TIME Magazine's #1 show of the year.
The show is the story of a girl who, armed with a vivid imagination and a sharp mind, dares to take a stand and change her destiny.
Waterfire returns this weekend and it is going to be a great weekend for it.
Waterfire is one of the most popular events in Rhode Island and throughout New England. It makes for great date nights with a loved one or just a cool place to hang out.
Hope Street Annual Spring Block Party
Hope Street Merchants Association Hosts Annual Spring Block Party
The party will include local music, food trucks, family fun, and beer & wine garden to benefit Festival Ballet.
There will be live music, food trucks, a fashion show, kids’ activities, a beer garden, a kids chill-out tent with story time and much more.
2017 RI Air Show at Quonset State Airport
After canceling the show in 2016 following a crash, the Thunderbirds return in 2017 for one of the premier events of the spring and summer.
Gates open at 9 a.m. and the flying begins at 10 a.m.
Kids' Story Time at Books on the Square
Parents and children can join storytellers for the ongoing story time events with talented storytellers.
Story Time events last approximately 30 minutes. This event is best suited for children 6 months–6 years old.10:30-11am Mondays, Babies11:00-11:30 a.m. Saturdays, All.
Columbus Film Club: A Face in the Crowd
The Columbus Film Club will present the film "A Face in the Crowd."
The show is about an Arkansas drifter becomes an overnight media sensation. As he becomes drunk with fame and power, will he ever be exposed as the fraud he has become?
The show begins at 3 p.m.
Lippitt House Museum's The Art of Dining Exhibit
The Lippitt House Museum has opened a new exhibit that highlights Victorian food.
The exhibit, The Art of Dining: A Taste of Providence’s Golden Age, opened on May 5 and explores the social customs of the Victorian era dining etiquette.
The exhibit will also explore how food and drink were integrated into Victorian life.
Bubbles and Beats at Rooftop at Providence G
Spend your Sunday afternoon on the Rooftop at the Providence G, and enjoy drink specials all day, music by some of the area's top DJs*, and relax by one of several fire pits.
