Arctic Blast: Experiments in Frost at Anchor Bend Glassworks
Arctic Blast: Experiments in Frost shows off modern sandblasting & silvering techniques. Frosted handblown glass Anchors, Waves, and Sea Creatures are the centerpieces of this show.
The Lion King at PPAC
This is it. The final weekend to see the Lion King at PPAC.
"The Lion King" has won six tony awards and features the class music of Elton John and Tim Rice.
Grab the kids and head to the theater for a night you will never forget.

Providence St. Patrick's Day Parade
Celebrate St. Patrick's Day at the parade that is set to take place on Smith Street beginning at 9 a.m.
The parade will proceed eastwards on Smith Street and end at the Rhode Island State House.
Brown Lacrosse vs Harvard
The Brown Bears men's lacrosse team are back home on Saturday hosting Ivy League rival Harvard on Saturday at noon at Brown.
The Bears enter the game looking to snap a three game losing streak.
Annual Bridal Expo at Harbor Lights Country Club
Harbor Lights Country Club will host their annual bridal expo on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Meet the area's finest wedding professionals. Browse numerous indoor and outdoor exhibits. Free admission and complimentary hors d'oeuvres are all on the agenda.
Shadow Puppets at Providence Children's Museum
Explore puppet-making techniques from around the world and create puppets to bring shadows to life.

The event goes from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free with general admission.
East Bay Restaurant Week
East Bay Restaurant week runs until March 23 and features great restaurants from Bristol to southeastern Massachusetts all serving great meals at great prices.
Bubbles and Beats at Rooftop at Providence G
