Senior Forwards Garfield Coustard and William Parmlee scored 11 points each to lead a balanced Hendricken scoring attack. Central senior Guard Wayne McKinney led all scorers with 14 points, but Hendricken’s ability to dictate the tempo on both ends of the floor forced Central to play a style that didn’t suit their personnel.

It’s Hendricken’s first state championship since 2010, and the 8th title they’ve won with Jamal Gomes as head coach.
