With the summer evaluation period of the college basketball recruiting cycle winding down, GoLocal takes a look at local players with a future in Division 1 hoops.

Up first is the Class of 2015, a class loaded with talent from Rhode Island and Massachusetts, featuring a slew of prospects getting local and national scholarship offers.

The top rated local player in the class is Jalen Adams of Cushing Academy.  The Roxbury native is a 6'3" scoring guard with a refined offensive game.  With the quickness to get to the rim and the shooting touch to keep defenders honest, Adams just finds ways to put the ball in the basket.  A consensus 4-star prospect, Adams verbally committed to the University of Connecticut, where he'll look to continue their recent legacy of churning out elite guards like Kemba Walker and Shabazz Napier.

Josh Sharma of Lexington is a player all the local colleges are in on, and the 7-footer from Northfield Mount Hermon has offers from all the major confernces too.  With good athleticism for his size and the ability to contribute immediately as a rebounder, Sharma is a consensus 4-star, Top 100 player in the 2015 class.  Boston College, UConn, Providence College, and UMass are all in hot pursuit.

Tilton School product Terance Mann is one of the most intriguing prospects in the northeast, and the 6'5" guard has no shortage of suitors near or far.  The Lowell native is a crafty offensive player with a mind for the game and the playmaking ability to create scoring chances for himself and others.  A high-level athlete as well, Mann is a Top 100 prospect that Georgetown and Virginia Commenwealth are recruiting heavily. URI and BC are both recruiting him as well, and Rhody may have the ultimate trump card on campus in women's coach Daynia La-Force, Mann's mother.

Newton native Aaron Falzon is a fringe Top 100 player in the class, and the Northfield Mount Hermon product has offers from just about every college in the northeast to choose from.  A 6'7" tweener forward with tremendous rebounding ability and shooting touch, Falzon has the versatility coaches love in a player.  BC, UMass, PC, URI, Harvard, and Holy Cross are all competing with schools from the Big 10, SEC, and ACC for his services.

Wilbraham & Monson Academy shooting guard Curtis Cobb is a fantastic scorer and has the range to step out deep to knock down shots.  The Fall River native is a 4-star prospect on Scout but a 4-star prospect everywhere else, and UConn and PC are the two local schools pushing hardest for him on the recruitng trail.

Milton native Jeremy Miller had been committed to BC, but re-opened his recruitment after Steve Donahue was fired. The New Hampton school power forward has offers from all over the nation, and locally has offers from UConn and PC in addition to BC's continued push to retain him.  Miller is a 4-star prospect on ESPN and Scout and a 3-star prospect on Rivals and Future150.

Consensus 3-star big man Jarred Reuter stars at Brewster Academy, and the Southborough native has a strong frame at 6'8" 225 pounds.  Boston College and UConn had been recruiting him, but Reuter cut his list of schools down to his final 5 Sunday- including a URI and PC.

Springfield's Chris Baldwin is a local player gaining a lot of momentum, picking up a 4th star from ESPN and being graded as a 3-star player by the other major recruiting sites.  The athletic, 6'8" power forward can score down low and is a relentless rebounder on the glass.  Baldwin has offers from UMass and La Salle, with BC and UConn also expressing interest.

Last but not least, Tabor Academy's Jesse Bunting is another athletic 6'8" power forward.  The Plymouth native has plenty of bounce and is a terrific defender and shot blocker.  A 3-star prospect on Scout and Future150, Bunting has offers from Northeasterm Iona, and some other mid-majors.  Bunting also picked up an offer recently from St. Joseph's.
