T.F. Green Airport Names Hughes & Vitt Vice Presidents, Promotes 2 Others

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) has named Linda Hughes vice president of marketing air service and media relations and Christine Vitt as vice president and chief infrastructure officer.

RIAC also announced the promotions of Timothy Pimental and Eric Seabury.

We are very fortunate to have them as part of our team as we continue to position the airport as a strong economic driver in our community,” said Iftikhar Ahmad, President & CEO of RIAC.

About Vitt

Vitt joins the Rhode Island Airport Corporation team as senior vice president and chief infrastructure officer. She is the former vice president of strategic planning and sustainability for The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority (MNAA), which operates the Nashville International Airport.

She led her team in many functions including strategy, planning, and environmental sustainability.

She won “Most Innovative” for Nashville Business Journal’s Employee of the Year Awards. In her new role at RIAC, Christine will be overseeing planning, development/engineering, and environmental initiatives.

About Hughes

Hughes will serve as vice president of marketing, air service & media relations. Hughes comes to RIAC with eighteen years of aviation experience.

Her recent position was that of air service and marketing manager for the Dayton International Airport where she managed external and internal communications on behalf of the City of Dayton.

In her new role at PVD, Hughes will be the main contact for Marketing and Media Relations and will work with Iftikhar Ahmad in the development of Air Service.

Two Promotions

Along with the hiring of Hughes and Vitt, RIAC also announced two promotions.

Seabury is being promoted to assistant vice president of engineering and Pimental is being promoted to vice president of customer service.

Pimental has worked at RIAC at T. F. Green Airport (PVD) for the past 21 years.

In his role as vice president of customer service, he will focus on delivering a comfortable, friendly, and efficient airport atmosphere with the services and amenities air travelers expect when they take to the skies.

Seabury has worked at RIAC for over 11 years and has managed major construction projects at all six of Rhode Island’s state-operated airports.

As assistant vice president of engineering, he will provide management oversight of engineering and environmental activities for RIAC. Seabury has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and has over 22 years of experience in the industry.
